The name of the village combines the founder’s surname and the name of the pretty river that runs through the village.

Book a 5 mile guided Haworth walk across the moors with Bronte Adventures, taking you to all the key Brontë landmarks. These are available every Saturday morning during the Summer!

The Yorkshire Day Flags will be flying at City Hall, and in the evening, the city will glow yellow, white and blue as lights on the City Hall clock, Margaret MacMillan Towers and the Forster Square arches will shine in the traditional Yorkshire colours.
