A virtual photographic exhibition by Yorkshire Monochrome Group
Following the success of its Twenty-First Century Monochrome show at Cliffe Castle, Keighley and online earlier this year, YMG is back again with People and Places. This newly released set of images once again highlights the many different aspects of monochrome photography and the talents of group members. There are seascapes, landscapes, cityscapes and naturescapes, along with a number of portraits and still life studies. This time we’re giving the ten photographers their own virtual ‘gallery’ as each individual’s work is quite distinctive. This display has been produced by YMG and Bradford Museums & Galleries.
YMG is open to anyone from novice to expert who is interested in photography.
Members are encouraged to contribute by showing their images. We don’t judge, award marks or criticise. We just encourage. We have no membership fees, just a £15 per meeting charge which covers the cost of a speaker and a good two course buffet lunch and all other refreshments.
The aims of the group are to encourage photography; film, digital, alternative processes, all exclusively monochrome.
Meetings are not being held at the moment, dues to the current crisis.
