RATMA (The River Aire Ten Minute Amateur) International Film Festival is a celebrated annual film festival which invites amateur film makers to submit their 10-minute films.
Started as a student project in Keighley in 2012, the festival now receives hundreds of entries each year from up and coming filmmakers from all over the world who wish to air their films to a wider audience. Entries are submitted under the following categories; Animation, Art, Comedy, Documentary, Drama, Music, Sci-Fi and Thriller,
This year, in conjunction with the inaugural Keighley Arts and Film Festival being held in October, RATMA are on the search for film submissions for an additional category “Made in the Aire Valley”
We are inviting any amateur film makers and/or companies to submit their short films whether they are films about and filmed in the Aire Valley, are films about companies based in the Aire Valley or are films of other topics where part or all of the film production has been undertaken by a company or person(s) based in the Aire Valley.
The deadline for entries is 31st August 2019 and submissions of films can be made via the RATMA website at www.ratmafilmfestival.com
During the Keighley Arts and Film Festival, the films entered will be shown in a number of pop-up cinemas around Keighley including the Airedale Shopping Centre, Keighley Creative Space, The Exchange, Riri’s Coffee House, The Picture House and Café Choux Choux to name a few.
