A Royal Knees-up in Bradford & District


The wedding between HRH Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle takes place on Saturday 19th May.  Join us to celebrate the most prestigious event in this year’s calendar.

The bells of City Hall will ring out in celebration (at 1:91pm) this weekend for the Royal wedding, joining others in the UK celebrating this happy event.  At nightfall, the clock tower will be lit up red, white and blue. And the arches of Forster Square Station approach will be illuminated. Watch the live coverage of the ceremony on the giant screen at City Park Bradford.

Celebrate the Wedding of the Year at Sunbridgewells ‘Royal Wedding Market Fair’ visitors can raise a glass to the happy couple whilst enjoying an array of pop up shops, fun for all the family including crafts for children.  (In association with The Sweetie People) Saturday the 19 May, 10.30am to 4.30pm.

The Airedale Shopping Centre, Keighley turns the big 5-0 this year, the centre will host a 60s themed party (19 & 20 May) enjoy party games, cupcakes, spin the birthday cake game and much, much more! As part of the celebrations, there will be screening of the Royal wedding on Saturday May 19 at noon and later in the day for football fans the FA Cup Final.

Plenty of fun for all the family, Bingley Canal Festival will be alive with activities for all ages, heritage boats, food, games and music. The nuptials will be screened in Bingley Little Theatre
