Two complementary exhibitions are to open at the National Science and Media Museum on Friday 2 March 2018. Thresholds—British artist Mat Collishaw’s virtual reality restaging of the world’s first major photography exhibition—opens alongside Immersion, an exploration of historical immersive audiovisual technology.

Take a ride on the GIANT Ferris wheel at the City Park! And enjoy the spectacular birds-eye view across Bradford.

Mum’s the Word! On Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 March, shoppers at the Broadway Bradford are being invited to leave handwritten notes explaining why they believe their mum is ‘one in a million’ and attach them to a stunning ‘Mum’ art installation with padlocks , similar to the ‘love locks’ bridge in Paris.

Yorkshire Theatre Arts’ Advanced Musical Theatre Group presents Little Shop of Horrors (28 February – 2 March) at the Bradford Playhouse. A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical.

Try something new, do something different! Join the adults-only night ( 8 March) Lates at the National Science + Media Museum packed with live shows and experiments, talks, comedy, music and more.

Visit Bradford Museums for an exciting showcase of exhibitions. Roll up, Roll up! Due to its popularity ‘Decades of Delight: 250 Years if Circus’ at the Cartwright Hall has been extended for a further length of time. Featuring items such as a ringmaster outfit from Billy Smart’s Circus, authentic clown shoes and a series of circus posters spanning several decades.

We LOVE Springtime – step outdoors.  Find the first crocuses and snowdrops, Spring is an ideal time to take a walk with family and friends.  Embrace the outdoors breathe in all that fresh spring air and explore the Bradford district.  We are renowned for rolling hills and rugged moorland.

It’s full steam ahead at Keighley & Worth Valley Railway (9 – 11 March) for big, noisy, three day festival of steam. Whether you’re a railway enthusiast or just looking for something a bit different to do – you’re sure to have a memorable day out with many locomotives in steam and operating at various times throughout the day.

Our Hotpick!  The award winning producer Ellen Kent returns to the Alhambra Theatre with an opera festival including three stunning traditional productions.  The festival opens with Verdi’s Rigoletto, the dark opera they tried to ban.  Ellen Kent’s Productions have a reputation for lavishness, spectacle and grandeur.
