The Brontë Parsonage reopens on February 1 it will host a year long exhibition entitled Making Thunder Roar: Emily Brontë. Visitors to the Brontë Parsonage Museum will have the opportunity to see the iconic portrait of Emily with Charlotte and Anne, The Brontë Sister’s, which was painted by their brother, Branwell Brontë.
During February we celebrate LGBT+ History Month. Bradford is recognised as one of the friendliest places in the UK for LGBT+ people. February will see events including installations, exhibitions, a Valentine’s Day supper, talks and film screenings at various venues across the city.
Take a ride on the GIANT Ferris wheel! And enjoy the spectacular birds-eye view across Bradford.
February means Beer Festival time, serving up a fantastic range of great beers to tempt the taste buds…. Ilkley Beer Festival at the Kings Hall, February 9 & 10 and Bradford Beer Festival at Victoria Hall, Saltaire. February 22-24.
The Yard at Ilkley will kick off a Craft Beer & Cask Festival (February 9th – 11th) alongside the fantastic Ilkley Beer Festival at the Kings Hall showcasing over 30 beers. Encompassing craft beers from around the globe, as well as over 20 cask ales from Yorkshire and beyond. The weekend will feature live music from 5pm Friday and DJs until late.
And if gin is more your thing, go along to the first ever Gin Festival, February 10 at The Airedale Barn, East Riddlesden Hall. Enjoy a winter’s evening with friends. There’ll be over 20 different gins to try on the night.
